From Scratch

This is Birmingham Jazz’s final contribution to Black History Month and brings back one of our most favourite bands, who always have a full house.  This final contribution to the BHM programme again features the sounds of the Caribbean and its rich and unique musical heritage.  For this show we have commsioned a slide show of Jazz Images over the years, commemorating the contribution of African/Caribbean Jazz Musicians to the life of Birmingham.

 

One can we say about Birmingham Jazz and it’s relationship with this band. Our promoting gave them the incentive to start again – from scratch – three years ago.  Here they are again with songs new and old in their unique and inimitable style.
