Rebecca Wilkins/Tom Harris Duo

This new duo of Guildhall and Birmingham Conservatoire students come to the 1000 Trades for the final leg of their UK autumn tour, with music from their latest self-entitled EP. 

Wilkins/Harris are a captivating piano-vocal duo, bringing together their multiple influences from folk, classical and jazz music to create mesmerising wordless landscapes, virtuosic improvisation and heartfelt songs. Formed during their time studying in Birmingham, the two combine original music, re-worked jazz standards and short interludes to display their individual talents as both performers and composers, with a varied programme that maintains a consistent joyful and engaging character.
