Steve Tromans

Steve Tromans has been a professional musician (pianist and composer) since the 1990s. As a composer he has written 100+ works for his own and others' ensembles, including John Mayer’s Indo-Jazz Fusions (with whom he toured India, Bangladesh, and recorded 3 albums) and has been commissioned by Birmingham Symphony Hall, Jazzlines, and Birmingham Jazz. As a performer Tromans has given over 6,000 performances in music and cross-arts projects, at venues ranging from international festivals (including Glastonbury, the Cheltenham and Derry Jazz Festivals, and the Aldeburgh Poetry Festival) to smaller venues around the UK and abroad.
