Jo Markland Quartet

Across Cultural Boundaries Festival

Kicking off the second day of this year’s festival is the fantastic original saxophone quartet after a long break from Birmingham Jazz.  Jo’s quartet will be playing music from the beginning of her musical journey from performing in bands like Walsall Jazz Orchestra and Shropshire Youth Jazz Ensemble.  That later inspired the writing and compositions for her children’s books ‘Jazz in the Jungle’ was featured last year for Birmingham Jazz.
