Billie Bottle / Viv Goodwin-Darke / Roz Harding

Birmingham Jazz @ 50

Temple of Shibboleth are a surrealist sisterhood who perform a scintillating blend of mythic prog, psych-folk and Canterbury jazz. In their trio form, they’re able to fully experiment with stretching out their material. This is deep music…quirky, dreamy, adventurous, heartfelt and soul-fed connection for all our beginning, middle and end times...

Between them, they have played Ronnie Scotts, London Jazz Festival, The Jazz Cafe, King’s Place, Camden People’s Theatre, Teatro Rossini, Vortex Jazz Club and Halle Women in Jazz Festival. They have had their music played on Jazz FM and BBC 6 Music and have played live on air for BBC Radio 3 (Late Junction and In Tune) and BBC Radio 4.

They have all collaborated extensively with Kate and Mike Westbrook as well as Caravan's Dave Sinclair. Billie and Viv were part of the Gong-aligned Invisible Opera Company of Tibet, whilst Roz' ///SUPERMOOD project featured drummer Jim Bashford and guitarist Mike Outram.
